Animal Tracks and Signs - Mrs. Gentry's Class

This morning my class went to the distance learning classroom to learn about animal tracks and signs. When we got there, we got in groups. After a few minutes the woman from the Museum of Natural Sciences came on.

Today we went to learn about tracks and signs. We had tracks and signs and we saw a real flying squirrel! I did not know it had a lot of skin.

This morning my class went to the distance learning classroom. We learned about animal tracks and signs. Our group worked with the golden rod gall ball. I was in Noah's group. My group learned that a fly goes in the golden rod plant and lays eggs and poop's.

This morning my class and I went to the distance learning classroom. We learned that animals can make tracks by their feet. They leave signs so other animals know it is their territory. The flying squirrel can glide in the air.

Today my class went to the distance learning classroom. We learned about animal tracks and signs. My group had an acorn and a nub of a pine cone. The acorn was bitten by a flying squirrel. The pine cone was eaten by a gray squirrel.

This morning we went to the distance learning class. Adam, Devin and I got a gray squirrel and an owl pellett. An owl pellett has bones and fun inside. It is covered with fur so it won't hurt the owl. Owls also eat insects. What ever the owl eats it coughs up some.

This morning my class went to the distance learning classroom for a videoconference. We learned about animal tracks and signs. We also were in a group. Our group had a golden rod gall ball. It is a thing that a fly will lay its egg on and the baby fly will go down in the wood and eat and poop.
